If you're anything like me – you're no stranger to the concept of WORK.
I'm the kind of person who tends to focus all of my passion and energy on one or two very specific goals in my life – and I pursue them with great intensity until I get the job done.
But here's the problem… the job is never done and life is so much more than any business endeavor. Don't get me wrong – it's great to be passionate about your goals and work hard to accomplish them – but there is ALWAYS going to be that next big deal to chase, that next big fish to catch and that next life-changing feat that will somehow make everything better starting tomorrow.
You see – my life consists of a lot more than real estate investing (and I hope yours does too). There are a lot of things competing for the top few spots on my priority list and over the past 6+ months, my life has honestly started to feel a little chaotic… and that's putting it kindly.
Now don't worry – I'm not going anywhere… but I did want to give you a quick update on a little personal vacation I took this past week (and how I use this kind of “therapy” to help keep my head on straight). The trip was an awesome success and I just wanted to take a moment to remind you – when you feel like you're starting to go nuts with the chaos of your daily grind and you need some stress relief – it's time to get defensive of your time. This is something you need to do for yourself because trust me – nobody else is going to do it for you.
