Every business can benefit from a quality logo.
It's a great way to establish your brand identity and make a good first impression on everyone who encounters your company.
Similar to a business website, a poorly designed logo can instantly convey negative vibes about your company (even when you are the best at what you do).
On the other hand, a well-designed logo will convey quality and trustworthiness to your potential customers long before they decide to do business with you.
How to Create a Logo With Canva
Creating a logo doesn't have to be expensive.
Websites like 99designs have made it surprisingly affordable to get very good designs from graphic designers worldwide (more on that here).
You can even create one for free with a website like Canva.
I've used Canva for years to create blog images, YouTube thumbnails, PowerPoint slides, direct mail templates, infographics, and more. It's the easiest, most user-friendly resource for creating visual assets.
If you have an ongoing need to design ANY kind of imagery, I can't think of any good reason why you wouldn't have a free Canva account (and even the Pro version of Canva is worth far more than the price of a subscription).

Canva Is Easy and Accessible
There once was a time when you couldn't design any kind of logo or imagery without expensive and complicated software like Photoshop (or even a free option like Gimp).
Don't get me wrong… these tools are GREAT for a professional graphic designer, but if you're a normal person like the rest of us, that's where Canva comes in.
With Canva, you can accomplish just about every design task you can think of, and get lots of fresh ideas, tools, and inspiration to work from.
I created a free logo for a fictitious company in about 60 seconds with Canva. Here's how it came out…
What do you think?
As you can see, it's nothing complicated, but it gets the job done and looks pretty good!
This kind of logo could live on a website, business card, letterhead, or email signature and can be used for many other practical applications.
Everyone Can Use Canva!
If I were starting today with the creation and/or design of my website, business cards, letterhead, or anything else, I would definitely want to know about Canva.
As I explain in the video above, you can accomplish most of what you need with a free Canva account. Still, even if you do spring for a Pro subscription, it is worth 10X more than the price because you can do so many different things with it (designing a logo is hardly scratching the surface).
Just because a logo is inexpensive doesn't mean it needs to look cheap.
I'm not making any money off of this blog post. I'm simply recommending this tool because it's an awesome resource. If you're looking for a quick, easy and inexpensive solution for your first (or next) logo, this is an option you ought to know about!
