Why I’m Moving My Selling Website to Lead Propeller

A selling website is a very important thing for real estate professionals.

Whether you're a house flipper, property manager, wholesaler, realtor or land investor – we ALL have a fundamental need for a highly functional, well-organized, good-looking online space to showcase our properties to the world.

For most real estate professionals, their selling website is the most visible online platform they have. This is the highest traffic website where most of their potential customers will discover who they are. Given the inherent importance of this website – it's a tool that shouldn't be taken lightly.     Seth,

    Have you asked them if it is possible to change the property details of bedrooms, bath, garages etc to other terms? More like acres, or something more related to raw land?

      Hi Mark – they have actually changed their system so that if you input “0” for those items, they just wont be displayed (so it won’t have a bunch of useless line items for things that don’t exist on the property). I’m using it for my vacant land properties and it works pretty well. I wouldn’t say it’s tailored precisely for vacant land properties, but it definitely still works (and keep in mind, you can put any information you want in the description itself – so if something is missing, you can always include it there).

    Great video Seth. I’m all ready to jump in with Lead Propeller but I was wondering if you had buy buttons on your land selling site? I’m new to vacant land and my existing (not as good looking) site had Stripe integration. Just wondering if that’s a go with LeadPropeller?

    I sent them an email asking as well, curious if you had to hire out to customize or something like that.

      Hi Brian – I’ve asked them about this too, and to my knowledge, no such thing exists yet.

      You should probably be aware… Stripe is a great service, but they also prohibit users from utilizing their service for real estate transactions (see here). There are definitely people who are doing it anyway… but they’re also breaking the terms and conditions (and I’ve heard of a few who have even got their accounts suspended because of it). Buying real estate via credit card is a surprisingly difficult thing to do, because none of the big name credit card processors will allow it. I’m not saying it’s impossible – but if you’re trying to find a credit card processor who will willingly allow this, you’re going to be searching for a long time, because there aren’t many of them out there.

      Hi Tom – that’s actually a great question.

      At this point, all of my sites are running through LeadPropeller EXCEPT for my buying website (which is running through a simple WordPress site – as I explain it in this blog post). The reason being – my buying website needs to have a VERY customized submission form, and I simply can’t customize a LeadPropeller site to the extent that I need to.

      But for the purpose of collecting leads and creating great looking property listings, LeadPropeller is hard to beat.

    Thanks for another great posting. I enjoy all your videos. Based off of this posting I ditched my wordpress theme (that never looked good I might add) and moved over to Lead Propeller. I tell you what, so far it has been the easiest thing about my business!       Hi Moshe – it took 3 years of pouring my heart and soul (and thousands of hours) into this site. None of it was hired out, and there was no SEO or “gaming the system” involved. I wish I could tell you there was a shortcut – but there isn’t one that I know of (but on the same coin, the results are priceless).

    If you do sign up with Lead Propeller you DO get three websites, but they do not have to be 3 different types of websites. You can actually create 3 selling websites, 2 selling and 1 buying website, or any other combination that you may come up with.
